Does anyone know what happend to orbiter access arm and white room from 39B? I'm pretty sure it's in Houston, but when they unveiled the design for the Atlantis exhibit, they showed a rendering that showed it would be included in the exhibit at KSC. I know the 39B Bennie cap is included in the exhibit.

I know the exhibit will include a beanie cap, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't have the white room, etc.

It is. The OAA and white room are displayed in Rocket Park outside the main entrance to Johnson Space Center. The early exhibit rendering was created and released six months before the OAA was moved to Houston.

Will a replica OAA or the one still attached to 39A be added to the exhibit? IMO I think it would make a nice addition to the exhibit.
The OAA and a orbiter cabin mock up in launch position attached to it.

To my knowledge, there are no plans for an OAA to be part of the exhibit, real or replica.

Where do you
see the arm? I think you may be confusing the arm with the OBSS, which has been there all along but was recently raised a bit off the starboard sill.

Odd, the link I have saved and have been using as of earlier today no longer takes me to the webcam, now just takes me to the front page of the Space Center Visitor page. Found the link again on here and resaved, thanks!!

My local newspaper covered a story on Atlantis yesterday. Pretty cool to see her getting media attention again.

That may be it. My apologies. The picture I saw looked like it, but it didn't show the entire payload bay.

Space Age Gateway to New Atlantis Attraction Takes Shape
Published on May 24, 2013
The home of space shuttle Atlantis continues taking shape at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Crews placed the nose cone atop the second of a replica pair of solid rocket boosters. A life-size external tank model will be built between them to form a complete "stack" the same size as the ones that lifted space shuttles into orbit for 30 years. The stack, which will reach 184 feet when finished, will straddle a walkway into the Space Shuttle Atlantis attraction's main building, a new, 90,000-square-foot exhibit hall housing Atlantis itself.
