The Visitor Complex had a family viewing today. And since I'm married to an employee, well......
There are still a few things to finish on the inside, like some exhibits that weren't set up yet or working, so I'll have to go back at some point to see what I missed.
So first, the SRB's and ET. I was impressed with the detail that went into the SRB's. Even had the HPU servicing ports on them and labeled...

The way that they bring you into the exhibit area was a pretty neat introduction. I won't spoil it, but suffice to say that the way Atlantis is revealed to you definitely gave me goosebumps. I dare say almost like waiting for and finally seeing an old friend at the airport.....
Now, it's time to pour on the inticement for Chris to book his trip stateside...

As a guarantee that they didn't polish her up or do any beautifying repairs I was still able to see the repair that was done where I...um, I mean, some aerospace technician damaged the radiator due to a socket mishap......

(That would be the large square taped area...)
