Next one will be 1:30pm Central. Again, if you are new to Shuttle, cancelled media briefings are partly a result of a mission having no problems. So it's a good thing, not a "Oh my, why did they cancel" as I know some people thought during a previous mission, thus noting.

Thanks Philip. Good to get them on the thread as people will be looking back in years and years to come. Only just an hour ago I spotted someone going through the STS-116 FD threads.

I still do that a lot, too. (That wasn't me just now, though, I swear...it's laundry day.

So they'll be having an orbit handover in the FCR soon.
I'm going to head off and write up a status article for Atlantis.
Brandi tends to do a lot of controller interviews so everyone keep an eye out and don't be afraid to post in the thread.

Josh on the education event at 5:09 a.m. CT:
"Yet another milestone for us. This will be the final education event we will ever do onboard the space shuttle, of course on board the space staion it will continue, but you're talking about a history that goes back to Christa McAuliffe who was going to be the first teacher in space. But education and events with schools has always been something that we have strived to do and taken very seriously to get students interested in space and science and mathmatics and engineering.
So tomorrow yet another milestone on this STS-135 flight as we do our final event with a school on board the Space Shuttle."
Good stuff.

Yeah, thinking it's a single event upset (I'm going to write this up) and that GPC-4 is good.
More good news.
