I wish someone could ask the GC guys what that is on the counter above their consoles. It looks like a triangular shaped plaque mounted on a wood base, near the end of the counter by the exit door.

GPC-4 issue:
Larger gaps in comms during sleep. Was a LOS of 25 mins expected. However, teams in ops support got WSSH to help out so they could look at the data.

They also get to help organize the wake up music.
Explaining the FCR map. This is good stuff, worth watching the video when it's on later.

You mean the STS-135 plaque? Josh noted GC holds that until the end of a mission and then it goes on the wall.

I don't think that is what it is... I need to check the view when it is next on. After I typed that I noted that he was from the Shuttle side, the item I am speaking of is in the ISS control room I believe. I am using iPad so I can't do a screen grab, so I will try to point it out next time it is visible.
thanks.

Ok I paged back and found it, it IS in th Shuttle Control room. in the quoted remark below you can see it. The back side is black.

Josh playing with his PAO console joystick to move the cameras again (
Well that's what I used to think. Informed that they are in comms with a TV production team who are in control of the cameras and videos etc.)
Ah I see. That looks like the Expedition 28 patch?

The Exp 28 patch is more a standard shield shape.
I found the same view on the HD feed but I still can't read the names on it to maybe try identify it.

Any outstanding issues due to the GPC4 failure? Will the 30 minute late wake up call, have an impact to the working hours (thus transfers) of the crew? Also when will GPC4 bring back to normal operation?

Working on it, no and I expect so

Seems we missed an interview with Michael Grabois @mgrabois - John 44 will have the video for it, so we'll catch it then.

Indeed she does!!! She's the last of the Tarawa class assault ships. Pete, to put things in perspective, I had more Harriers on the flight deck of my fifth ship, Bataan during my 2003 deployment to Iraq than Admiral Sandy Woodward had in his entire South Atlantic Task Force in 1982. Our sister ship Bonhomme Richard had just as many during the same deployment.
You had ~35 Harriers on the *flight deck* of an LHD?
