Will do a few notes ahead of Aaron's better summary.
GPC issue likely because of the way the mode switch seated. Seen the signature before on this vehicle/GPC. Not overly concerned, not an anomaly yet.
Data dump tomorrow.
Very minor transducer issue on a Fuel Cell. No issue.
Following conjunction over the next couple of days. Closest approach would be during the EVA. Not a good idea on where it'll be with the ISS/Shuttle. Might not be a conjuction. Will know more this time tomorrow.
FD2 inspections: Prelim overall very good, no problems there. All but clear WLE at MMT, via peer review. Looks very good for the RCC.
RPM nearly on the ground, 1000mm to come for downlink.
First Focused Inspection meeting tonight.
Good ascent on flight dynamics on prop elements. Some issues with the weather balloons.
RH Booster in port. LH Booster in tonight around midnight. Slip ops tomorrow. Open assessment on Tuesday. SRB video sometime on Monday.

I think Mr Cain said the folks who track space debris are "in the mountain"?
Shall we play a game?

Is this a record amount of Canadians on Station?
OBSSx2
SRMS
SSRMS
Dextre.
Tied with a record if you consider Greg Chamitof a Canadian. He was born up here in Montreal, Quebec.
Minus 1 OBSS for a possible Canadian-born astronaut.... I guess it depends who's counting?

Pleased to report RNDZ and docking was absolutely flawless
I felt privileged to be part of the team as I watched it, it was really moving
Atlantis has most dockings to ISS
A good day this morning, crew has a few hours left in there day
MMT talked briefly
Want to understand if we have enough margin to extend by an extra day ASAP have 1 day 4 hours of margin (approx)
Will begin discussing the +1 day tomorrow in the ISS MMT meeting and the items the crew would perform
May discuss it in the MMT tomorrow
Had a problem with GPC 3 today, on RNDZ and prox opps we expand the set and bring a third GPC into the set for more redundancy
When the crew did that operation today GPC 3 had a small hiccup and decided it should turn its self off (halt)
Believe it is switch tease, when the crew moves the switch it doesn’t get seated in the intended location and so the GPC doesn’t understand the intermittent position and it shuts down
Have seen this signature on this GPC before
Not overly concerned with it or calling it an anomalies
Team are doing a data dump tomorrow, will give us an indication of the internal working of the GPC
Fuel cell 3 flow meter has an erratic transducer
This is minor, the transducer is a secondary cue to indicate performance of cell
Team have inhibited it to prevent nuisance alarms
May be following a conjunction, need to look out for it in
Closet approach during the EVA on FD 5
Don’t have a good PC yet
Need to get some updated state vectors
It’s a ‘potential’ conjunction now
Will know better by this time tomorrow if its something we want to look at
DAT
Didn’t see anything in preliminary look
Some final peer review remaining on WLE and nosecap
Have all but cleared WLE in the MMT
RPM
Data all nearly on the ground (and in L2)
Team reviewing it
1000mm is being downloaded now
May be able to give the crew some indication before they go to sleep tonight
Had the ascent quick look summary
Its very very good
No issues with ascent flight dynamics data
A number of problems with the balloon system we use
Have such a robust set of backup procedures that it barely made it to managements attention
The balloons were icing up
Booster Opps
Right hand booster is in the port
Left is coming in tonight (around midnight)
Slip offs tomorrow morning
Open assessment Tuesday
MPLM opps tomorrow
Question
Q: Anything on size or origin of debris?
A: No
Q: If you had to manoeuvre would it interfere with the spacewalk?
A: Would likely not interfere with the space walk. If we do a DAM we would use the shuttle VRCS thrusters.
Q: Is it the same box you maintain around the station with the shuttle present, do the rules differ for when your doing a space walk?
A: Not aware that the rules differ for a space walk.
Q: Process you’re going through now you know about the conjunction?
A: Were alerted by the space comm. folks in the mountain. A notification goes to our FDO and trajectory experts for ISS and shuttle operations. FDO for shuttle and TPO for ISS. They notify the next level of management and depending on the timing and when its going to occur the urgency and level of notification goes up as the reaction time goes down. We have a few days now, a process of checks and balances are going on between flight dynamics team and the team in the mountain. It’s an iterative process until the hour of closet approach we assess the PC and based on what it is we’ll take action based on the flight rules.
Q: What would need to happen to remove the +1 day option ?
A: If the cryo consumable calculations were wrong. If we have the margin I’m probably willing to do it.
Q: Crews activities for the week?
A: They will be busy, tomorrow doing the MPLM move from payload bay to station. Open the hatch and the crew can get in and pull things out and begin transfer opps. FD5 is the spacewalk. Subsequent to that is transfer, stowage and repacking the MPLM. 30 hours of transfer for middeck. 130 hours of MPLM transfers. Have a job jar of tasks that need doing.
Q: Put the conjunction in perspective?
A: Its not uncommon theres a lot of junk in orbit. A lot of objects are being tracked we have a good process for know where they are and avoiding them. We have a number of objects which are spent rocket bodies and over time they drag down from there original orbit so in some cases theres a fluctuation in how much debris we see in orbits we look at. It changes due to new things entering the orbit, its not a constant. Its not unusual to have to deal with it, have to deal with it more than we did 10 years ago. Have some ideas about how we might approach this for future vehicles.
Q: When did you learn about this conjunction?
A: Assume it was this morning
Q: Latest time you would want to decide on an extra day?
A: Have some time to talk, if we add an extra day we want to insert it where FD8 is currently. Want to have it in the new timeline we give to the crew around FD6 would be nice to decide by FD5 not required to decide by FD6 though.
Q: How close will the debris come to the ISS?
A: Don’t know
Q: Earliest the shuttle station might perform the DAM ?
A: Depends on what the timing of the event is. May do something late in the day tomorrow but we’d need a lot of data quickly. Depends on orbit, direction its coming from. Could do something as early as late tomorrow.
Q: Elaborate on process you’ll go through on the SRB’s, what will happen to them?
A: Normal process is to begin to prepare the boosters, take them out of the water, disassemble them. Then look inside the motor. Plan is to send them back to ATK.
