"Like the view, you're in the home stretch."
Closing in on the completion of today's inspection work.
Crew is about an hour and a half ahead of the timeline due to skipping their formal midday meal, they're eating while working - (no working on lunch!)

There have been so many people interested in SRB recovery ship viewing I decided to start a new thread.
http://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/index.php?topic=25902.0This helped tremendously on STS-134. I didn't know exactly where to go to see the ships and would have ended up going to the wrong place if there hadn't been a separate thread I could easily check from my phone.
If anyone happens to see a confirmed day/time of when the ships will show up in port I would appreciate if you could cross-post in the SRB recovery thread also in case I don't notice it. Have to try and get some work done today.

Really enjoying following this veteran crew today as they efficiently blast through the timeline.

OBSS looks to be in the pre-cradle (hover) position. Inspections lasted just under 5 hours.

PS Don't worry about what's going on with the forum on the online members etc. Just Mark restoring the accidentially deleted launch day thread.

Does that include posts in this thread? I'm deleting anything I posted that no longer has the screengrabs.
Edit: nevermind -- I see that's all my posts. Will wait to see what else needs to go.
