Snips of what was said:

"The last flight of Endeavour, the last spacewalk of shuttle crewmembers, kinda fitting Endeavour is here, she was the first shuttle for ISS assembly.

"With a 1000 hours of spacewalks I had the honor to share this spacewalk and for the workers with Shuttle and ISS we're standing on the shoulder of giants.

"Hopefully this is the door step to our future. Congratulations on Station Complete.

"Ok, time to go home."

Nice words!

Amazing to think this station will possibly be here still in 17 years.

Speech by Taz:
"This is the last flight of Space Shuttle Endeavour and it's also the last spacewalk of shuttle crewmembers and for station assembly.
It's kinda fitting that Endeavour is here, 'cause Endeavour was the first shuttle to begin construction of the station, and so it's fitting that she's here for the last mission for station assembly.  During this EVA we passed collectively over 1000 hours of spacewalks that is part of station assembly.
Mike and I have the honor here to share this last spacewalk and of course for all the folks working on the ground, thousands of people helped build this - working in the shuttle and station program - we're floating here on the shoulders of giants.
This space station is the pinnacle of human achievement and international cooperation.  Twelve years of building and 15 countries and now it's a cornerstone in the sky and hopefully the doorstep to our future.
So congratulations everybody on assembly complete."

Spanky - "Well said Taz"
Houston concurs.

Lost all cable functions (internet/TV/phone) this morning but got it all back to see the views from the top of ELC3. Really looking forweard to seeing these photos too.

You get a real sense of scale showing how big these things are with Chamitoff next to it.

Another great shot on now.  I'm reminded of Dick Gordon on Gemini 11.
Greg Chamitoff 'standing' on top of Destiny.

Never noticed that discoloration on the thermal cover before.  It kinda looks burned.
