Following recovery operations, the capsule was put on transport by train. After its arrival at a railway station in the northern suburban district of Changping on November 19, it was handed over to the China Academy of Space Technology.
The capsule was opened on November 21 in order to unload onboard items and pre-installed back-up systems and equipment. Scientists also analyzed the data accumulated during the space docking mission, aiming to further improve the capsule’s comfort and safety for future manned missions.
