• This looks to be the first R-7 launch from Plesetsk since the Molniya M failure

  Unfortunately, Russian Space Forces did not announce the tomorrow's launch time officially yet... I know only that this launch will be in late evening at Moscow time...

  According to ITAR-TASS the 11A511U Soyuz-U was rolled of from the technical complex of the GIK-1 Plesetsk Cosmodrome at 09.30 May 2nd (Moscow Time I supose) and was put on LC16: http://www.itar-tass.com/eng/level2.html?NewsID=7425884&PageNum=2

  According to my source Kosmos-2420 is second Kobal't-M reconnaissance satellite...

• The observed orbit is also compatible with a Kobalt-M (or a Kobalt) satellite. Kobalt-M is more likely, as the second flight of it was reported to be scheduled for 2006
