Back to 2 tix. Got to Paypal.
Unfortunately paypal's servers send a token back to Gator's for final authentication and then back in 503 land.
If I want to leave Paypal it's back to 503 land.

If you can, book with a carrier who doesn't penalize excessively for flight changes, have heard Southwest is a good choice in that regard.
Also, keep watching the processing thread for updates, it's your best source for knowing about launch prep happenings.
I would - except I'm a Delta guy (racking up miles for our honeymoon at the moment) so I am inclined to book with them.
That said, I agree that SW's policy on changes is hard to beat.
Decisions, decisions...
I've been watching this and the processing thread religiously for the past month so I should catch any schedule slips pretty quickly.
Thanks for the reply!

I got kicked out of booking 6x with Pay Pal earlier this afternoon when trying to buy causeway tix.
My recommendation would be keep refreshing the GL checkout page religiously - eventually you'll get thru!

Still haven't made airline reservations so I have to ask... do you think flying out on Monday evening would leave enough buffer time for possible delays, assuming nothing major comes up pre-launch?
Thanks as well for the awesome LaunchWiki site - very helpful!

I can endorse Southwest, if it's a choice from where you are. I had originally booked for the first NET 6/28. When they bumped it back and set 7/8, I changed my flight, and not only did I not have to pay a "change fee", their Bags Fly Free policy means I can bring my golf clubs with me - for the rest of my week in FL. The price had actually dropped from Twin Cities to MCO, so I still have a $50 'credit' for my next flight.
(not a paid endorsement *L*)

This is reassuring.
I got this far so I will keep trying.
No payment showing on my Paypal account yet.

Since FDT is phone-only and Gator is online-only, I would be trying both at the same time. They all go to the same causeway.

Yup, no charge on my Pay Pal through all those attempts.
Their servers communicating back thru GL's servers is the issue - so in the end I realized it was easier (tho it still took forever) to stick with the GL checkout page. Took probably an hour still at that point, but I got my 4 tickets!

My Paypal can never get access to Gator for payment.
It keeps failing over and over and over and over.
Been trying hundreds of times it always sends me back to my Paypal page without processing any payment.
I want to give them my money for the tix and they don't take it. The server goes back to 503 land each time.
This is madness. Been almost 5 hours.
Maybe we are just nut cases.

I first got onto Grayline at 12:11pm. Finally got my tickets at 4:13pm.
I did log into my account from the get go, and everytime I got booted and got back in, I was automatically logged in and my 3 causeway tickets were still in my cart.
I must have been booted well over a hundred times, but kept trying. I eventually made my payment through the online form but I had also tried PayPal about 30 or so times.
The whole situation was very nerve racking, but worked out in the end.
Good luck to those who are still clicking refresh.

Also - it's much easier for eBay sharks to write a computer program to try and by tix over and over again - much faster than human hands. Whereas phone lines.....

Keep trying. Someone on Facebook got 3 cw tickets 7 minutes ago.
If you have an account with them, try logging in. Seemed to work for me in keeping the tickets in my cart. I don't know how successful you would be trying to set up an account right now.
Keep your email open, as I got a notification through my email a couple minutes before I ended up at the online invoice page.

You bet the fleabay sharks are getting their packages while we are here struggling for hours and hours for one or two tix and we are getting nowhere.
Can't the Gators block these sharks damned IPs?
Haven't they thought of that?

"Thank you all for your patience and understanding. We still have Causeway tickets available."

Okay. I am pretty sure i bought 6 tickets but have not received ab email confirmation. I submitted my CC info twice and caught a glimpse of a message about my ordeer before my old nemesis "Service Unavailable" appeared. Have the successful purchasers from Gray Line gotten an email confirmation? Is it time to celebrate?

I had my email confirmation before I ended up at the invoice page, don't know if that clears anything up for you however. Everything seems to be all over the place.

If you're able, check your credit card account to see if the charge went thru. If you see it, to me that would be a sign for celebration.

Is Gator mailing tickets to the buyers?
FDT told me that I had to pick them up... =\
If I'm flying in on a redeye flight due to a lack of vacation days for work time off, how the heck am I supposed to get them?
