Going through fleabay will be a rip off no doubt. Think of scalpers who used auto registration programs to get over 1200 tickets.
I did a quick total of the number of tickets I see offered on EBay now and come up with 267 in total for Causeway and VC. Your number seems high to me but it's early yet and you may be right by the time it's done with. Parasites.

I don't know how many buses went to the Causeway but somebody with patience may try to count the number of Charter buses in the attached photo (from Nasa web site-sts-133). Mine was the second last to leave

Note that the NASA buses onlyb takes the paring on the extrem right.

I was fortunate to view the launch of Endeavour on STS-134 from the causeway, purchased my ticket via Florida Dolphin Tours.
For those curious about how many people view the launch from the causeway, here's a close approximation for Endeavour's launch. At the time many of us were taking pictures of the VAB, Suresh Attapatu was atop the VAB taking pictures of us
http://www.flickr.com/photos/suresh_atapattu/5733655444/in/photostream/lightbox/ . From his picture, I see about 32 rows of buses - Greyline, FDT, and KSCVC (maybe others). The buses were parked three abreast so there were around 96 buses. If each bus holds 50 people we're talking 4800 people which aligns with the 5000 causeway viewers I've seen mentioned elsewhere.

I think buses are in the east causeway. there are others (NASA or KSC people/staff etc) who drive in using their own cars, those are at the west causeway. Buses are all in the east causeway.

Correct! Also keep in mind there wasn't as many people at 134 as there was for 133. I saw quite a difference. If 135 goes as planned I expect it to be as bad as 133 or worse.

This kind of got buried and another 24 hours has passed with no word if my RSVP arrived. I'll post my question again in hopes someone will know about the email address.
Is there anybody that has won congressional tickets more than once? I am wondering if they use the same RSVP email address every time? I got my confirmation email but not the nice invite in the postal mail yet. I went ahead and emailed the RSVP to the address I used for STS-134. Said you should get confirmation in 48 hours but that time frame has passed with no confirmation. I am wondering if they use a different email? I hate waiting for the postal mail with the 6/17 deadline hanging over my head! I have a VERY unreliable mail carrier!

So they didn't include an RSVP email address in the confirmation email? If that's the case I would just reply to the confirmation. Did it end up in your spam/junk mail? If nobody here can help by Monday morning I'd be getting on the phone.

That's kind of vague - for what? - are you asking in general or specifically - hotel, food, launch viewing, touring?

The confirmation email came from my Senator's office. It said I would be receiving an invitation by postal mail that would include the email to RSVP to. I have the RSVP email address from the STS-134 launch and I am just wondering if it is the same address for STS-135. I did send an RSVP to that address on Wed. and I am supposed to get a confirmation within 48 hours which has passed (not in junk mail). I am just wondering if I RSVP'd to the correct email address.

I'm not sure who is sending you the invitation but you would think they would have a postal tracking number for it.

I am obviously not making my question clear. I want to hear from someone who has gotten congressional tickets more than once. If you have was the RSVP email address the same both times?

That's some pretty strong speculation. On what facts are you basing that assertation?
That would be a lot of separate credit cards/addresses to maintain.
It's from a Facebook post. The guy that posts this stuff is not credible at all.

yes on email address. I've even used the address to ask a question now and then and they would respond. But that is nearly 2 years ago.
I've done congressional passes 2 times in a row. The much delayed 127 and the not quite as delayed 128. Same procedure both times, but I believe things were a little more casual back them not quite the rush to see the last of this or that shuttle. In fact the staff told during a recent launch that they aren't able to accommodate the standbys on the day of launch like they used to, due to security. But the procedure was nasa would email (you had to give them an email address along with your personal info when you applied). You would rsvp via email then get stuff in the mail. Always from nasa never your congressional sponsor. For 127 I think it was as little as 3 weeks from the time I requested pass from Senator's office till the first of many attempts. I went to all attempts. After launch I asked if I could go again in the future. They said how about going for 128 (midnight launch on 4th attempt iirc). Great!!
If you search the viewing thread of previous launches about 2 weeks prior to launch there will be nuggets of info for the congressional route. I've been on standby or wait list since then but neither congressional office or nasa seems to know anything about it. so I give up and watch from boat on Indian River or the top of the new Titusville causeway...of course congressional is the best you can do short of being at the press site or even better standing in front of vab with the sound waves bouncing off the building.. have a great time. I hope to be in small boat on Indian river about 7 miles due west!! safe travels for all

What will traffic be like after the launch to get to Daytona Beach Airport or Melbourne Airport?
Do you think I would make a 2:12pm flight from Daytona or a 1:30pm flight from Melbourne?
This page (
http://wiki.launchwiki.com/index.php?title=Trip_Planning) says the "The I-95 corridor is generally open, however, so post-launch lodging in Daytona Beach or Melbourne may be advisable." but I'm unsure what that means exactly in terms of driving duration.
Thanks for the help
