Can't wait to see video of Dragon coming through the clouds. I wonder if there'll be much exterior scorch marks.

YEHAA, this is incredable.  The next thing I want to hear is, "Yes SpaceX, you can combine COTS flights 2 and 3.
That'd be a good deal.  Let's hope so...we sure need this Dragon, and all of the other Commercial guys, too.  Feels like we're THIS close to having an American crew vehicle to take up after the shuttle... let's quit fooling around.  Nice job SpaceX.

I wonder what will happen to this vehicle after the post-flight analysis. Might it go to the Smithsonian or something, park it next to their SS1?

I thought all the COTS vehicles were being reused as DragonLabs?

I guess I can see that logic, but there's the PR boon they could get from it, which may be more than equal to the monetary value of re-using this one vehicle. Reuse the other COTS vehicles. Send this one to a museum.

Well, I already unlurked for a moment, so there...

Congratulations on successful launching Falcon 9, deployment of Dragon and taking it back down in one piece! Now only recovery, analyse and learning from assets that was actually in space.
Be successful.  Then tell the haters to (BLEEP) off. - deruch
