Judging by their Facebook comments, I think SpaceX has gotten the message about the webcast quality, let's just hope they do something about it.

Thanks for the video, Ronsmytheiii. Reviewing it does suggest the engines burned for the 3.5 or so seconds in total, before shutting down and relief vent on the 2nd stage opened.

Nope, it cut off early.  Possible recycle and second try.

Spinup and engine burp?

At least it all went ok in the end. That's got to be more important than a dodgy webcast (as much as I know it's frustrating).

Let's all keep an eye on what SpaceX say then. Notice there's no presser sent out on the "success" which is usually done within minutes.

They are apparently checking all the date before they decide on a retry today.

Thanks for the info Sage. Nothing from SpaceX yet.

Why is there a "US ARMY" logo on Dragon trunk?

Where did you see that?

http://twitpic.com/3civg1

That's interesting. We don't exactly know what's inside that trunk, do we... Anyone recognize the other two logos?

Watching the video again, it sure looks very close to 2 seconds at full power to me. Maybe they found something that was off-nominal, but why exactly do you say they want to retry? What is the source of your info?

Yeah, but that blows my theory about the trunk not seperating from the 2nd stage on this flight.  I still can't find any seperation fittings in any of the latest pictures.

That coat of arms logo is familiar but I can't place it.

If I'm not mistaken SpaceX is launching from Cape Canaveral, which is technically a military site, so could that explain the logo?

Cape Canaveral is Air Force.

Agree, doesn't seem like the trunk would separate from the stage. Doesn't prevent anything inside to be ejected after Dragon separation, though.
