Looks like SkyTerra-1 (former MSV-1) was delivered to Baikonur yesterday. Launch is scheduled for 14 Nov 2010.

I always wondered why the "car wash" was even necessary. When Fregat flies on Soyuz and Zenit, it is fueled right in the MIK, is it not? Besides, the satellite is full of hydrazine too, right? So it's not like the safety is that much enhanced by fueling Fregat on this special position.

My transfer stops at 53 to 61 Mbytes.

Also does someone has information about the shown Proton-rockets?
One of them is one of the early UR-500, but which is the one with the 8.90m type payload-fairing?

Excellent. Was a great launch to watch online. Wish they didn't go CG during first stage sep, but oh well.

I wonder, did Boeing solve this problem with active thruster tweaking, etc., or did the problem simply "solve itself"?
