That seems like a great idea, especially if they aggregated a large collection of all the various NASA photo collections.

One an unrelated tangent, am I misperceiving it, or do most "apps" seems to be little more than flash or similar pages on defeatured web browsers? I've seen a few clever ones, but I get the impression they could just as well host the "app" on a remote server with the rest of the data and call it a bookmark.

The "Good ones"? No.
