If they cannot come up with the reason and determine it would allow for a recycle in this time frame then they should call for a scrub today.  They should not attempt another launch if they do not fully understand the cause.  Of course I would certainly hope they are thinking along those lines.  They have nothing to prove that won't be proven if they succeed tomorrow after a thorough analysis and also come up with a fix for whatever happened.  And although I doubt Elon will let it out anytime soon they should explain it to the world what it was in straight forward terms and not obtuse excuses.  I respect what Elon has managed to do but still don't care for his secretiveness and irrelevant analogies.

What the? Apart from not releasing video of their rockets crashing or exploding, SpaceX have been completely upfront about the cause of each failure.

I say fire it up anyways and see the ship panic as the first stage drops on them...

It's ironic, all the talk about the weather concerns previously, it turned out to be the *least* of their worries.

Maybe that could be their first stage recovery method? :P

And as a private, closely held company, they do not actually have to tell us squat that does not help their business plan and improve shareholder value. I respect  that they are doing much that they have no real business reason for doing, expending time, resources and manpower for us that has no profit in them and heartily thank them for 'giving back' to us commercial space junkies.

All interesting, but remember guys, we have discussion threads for SpaceX on the SpaceX forum section. Let's keep what is becoming a long thread on updates - or specific to update news - only

Considering they have the NASA sponsored manned space flight program in their 'hip pocket', I'd say they have an obligation to keep the interested public closely informed.

Looking at the mpg (Thanks Ford!), it looks like both the GG and Main ignition events occurred.
If I like something on NSF, it's probably because I know it to be accurate.  Every once in a while, it's just something I agree with.  Facts generally receive the former.

their "PAO" audio track is simply crap.  They should allow us to hear parts of the control centre audio where appropriate and supplement this this commentator track to explain whats going on.

No official (solid sources) word here yet, will note if I hear something.

How long do we have left in the window? (Minus the 15 minutes for the count to resume).

Yup. Here's the first green flash.
