Successful launch for ALSAT-2AJuly 12 2010
ALSAT-2A, designed and built by Astrium, was launched at 04.52 (BST) this morning aboard an Indian PSLV rocket from the Sriharikota launch base on behalf of the Algerian Space Agency (ASAL). ALSAT-2 is the first Earth observation satellite from Astrium’s AstroSat100 micro-satellite product line, based on the Myriade platform, also comprising the first flight model of the new NAOMI optical instrument.

TIsat-1 beacon signal as heard during it´s first day of operation (July, 12; 2010) after launch in India by PSLV-C-15. TIsat is an educational Swiss cubesat and the reception was made in Sao Paulo Brazil on 70 cm UHF amateur radio band:
