Frosty
I'll get some causeway HD video up tonight. I was around the mid-east end, where the second "gap" between the trees was. My videography wasn't the best, but it still looks pretty spectacular.
Might also have some pictures, will see how they turned out.

Just saw Atlantis low in the northeast from just north of New York City. She came by on time or perhaps a minute after the listed time. Picked it up without optical aid, not enough time to get a view in the telescope. No detail in 8x25 binoculars (not surprisingly). The sky was pretty bright, no stars except for Mars overhead, so it would not have been obvious unless you knew where to look.
ISS scheduled to pass directly overhead about 912pm EDT (35 minutes after Atlantis).

That was just beyond words. Wow. Dolphin tours pretty much seems to have things figured out for this. Was pretty easy all the way through.
Have two or three questions though.
1. When we got off the bus as KSC VC, they gave us a green ticket and a blue ticket. We used the blue ticket to enter the VC, but we kept the blue ticket. Can we use this for a second day of entry to the VC? I totally forgot to ask our guide about this today. Dolphin's website is not clear at all on if their VIP package includes a non-launch day admission to the VC.
2. What day should the spent boosters be coming in?
3. Will the observation gantry be open for bus tours on Saturday? I overheard someone saying that it is closed 24 hours before and after a launch. Not sure how accurate that is.
also, is the Clarion internet horrible for anyone else?

Here is an HD one for you:
Double click on it so you can see it in HD on youtube. This isn't my video but one I just found on youtube shot from the Causeway.
David-- Were you there? Wish I had planned to go, though passes were hard to come by.
The causeway view is great. Saw 117 from there. That was Atlantis also. The last of 3 times I saw her fly.

Just got back, the traffic back was horrid. Next time, getting a hotel! Could see more in the telescope, but my T-adaptor broke this morning, so only had wide-shots.

Just got back in a few minutes ago from watching Atlantis go over Indianpolis area. Very bright, had a little over a minute. Just amazing every time I watch, see how fast it is going and realize there are people in there.

Just got home from the launch.
I wish I took pictures but I was too busy watching, cheering, and crying as she climbed.
The Administrator is right. Even if it is your 4th launch just watch it. NASA and CNN will have it youtubed.
It was the best live one I ever saw.
It was spectacular, amazing, and you feel so damn good. People just start cheering, hooting, and hollaring.

That was awesome. We took Dolphin Tours and had causeway tickets. I was a bit disappointed that we were on the far end of the causeway, but the view was still fantastic, and the weather was ideal. Not bad for my first launch, so NO COMPLAINTS about anything. I wanted first and foremost to see it go up on Friday, and I was not disappointed. Here are a few shots.
I also had some camera problems, was all set to go on high speed burst mode on my camera, I had turned it off until 2 minutes before launch and forgot to re-activate burst so I only got a few shots at liftoff when I wanted a ton so I would have better chances of a real good shot. I did get lucky at SRB separation however as you will see below, all chance as I was zooming in and it cleared up just in time for me.

This was our 2nd launch, and some friends 1st. We watched from Titusville because we couldn't get NASA causeway tickets. It was really FANTASTIC from Titusville too. Had to be better from the causeway, but, it was really GREAT from Titusville. I think I could have seen every one and I would still not be tired of them.
I think the best part is when the shock wave and sound slams into you! It was just AWESOME. Did not really PLAN to attend the launch, just so happened that this was the last day of our vacation! So, we had no choice but to take in the launch. We could not come all the way to Florida from St. Louis, MO and NOT come to one of the LAST shuttle launches in HISTORY! Not when we were RIGHT here!
This place is just great!

When will the SRBs return to Port Canaveral and is Jetty Park the best place to watch them come in?

Here's my video from the causeway:
That's great - close to my own position. I decided myself not filming
and only enjoy the moment. So it's fantastic to have this video.
Thanks a lot

A group of my coworkers attempted to view the ISS and Shuttle
passing sort of overhead half an hour ago from Old Faithful. We couldn't see anything. Has the orbit for the ISS changed recently?
