Hi,
I'm also planning on flying from Germany to watch the launch.
Does anyone know if the STS-132 launch date is dependent on how long STS-131 is? Like one extra docked day, or landing waivers caused by the weather?
I'll also try to buy some Causeway Tickets even though that doesn't look humanly possible.
Hi,
will there be a kind of "German supporter group" for STS-132 on May 14th? How can I join this group ;-)
I'll start from Dusseldorf on May 13th and will have to drive from Fort Meyrs.

Hi everyone!
If Atlantis rolls out at the 20th, is it known when the rotating structure at the pad will close? Is it the same day?
Thanks!

That's usually the case.

Well I booked my hotel, got my KSC tickets (admission, KSC tour & lunch with an astronaut)...just waiting on causeway ticket sales to open & a firmer date for my plane tickets.
KSC here I come!

Probably going to look at a Gator tour in the swamp to fill in the time afterwards. I'm there from the 11th to the 19th.

I'm waiting for causeway tickets to go on sale - seems late to me to not have heard a date. Hopefully will get some without them selling out. Have tried contacting my Congressman's office but have heard absolutely nothing back.
I'm going to book flights in the next day or two. Hoping to also catch the Delta launch a few days later...and depending on if/when Falcon 9 launches in May, I might also try to work out being down for that as well.

I had received an offer from one of my Senators, but have also heard nothing back since I replied to their offer. Hoping LTTs go on sale soon just so I know I have tickets.

We should be there between the 11th and 17th. There's usually an NSF dinner but I don't know when or where. There will be an announcement here somewhere when the plans firm up.

I was contacted today and told that my chances of a ticket for STS-132 are remote, but good for STS-134. Unfortunately, I have already solidified plans for STS-132. If I do get tickets can I designate them to go to someone else or does that just go to the wait list?

And I just bought my plane tickets. There was only 1 seat left for the 'optimal' flight time, and on a seat sale, so had to take the plunge. Only 3 seats left coming back for any reasonable return time, and paid regular fare for it. Oh well.
Will be well worth it

Very good! We'll keep everyone posted on the goings-on for NSF out there.

I gotta make it to one of these NSF dinners, if only for the heartburn. Hoping it works out for this one.

Planning to travel from Ireland. Waiting until end of month to book flights, already booked the hotel in Titusville for the night before. Thinking of buying Gator Tours causeway tickets.
Hope it all goes to plan.

You know as much fun as I know I am going to have on this trip, I've also come to the sad realization that as the days count down we are closer and closer to retirement with no plan nor any word of what will become of her after...
Well at least I'll have the whole group of you to cry with... well most of you (I'm assuming there is the one or two odd balls out there...)
Targeting my dates as May 12-19th. (gives me a little give for scrubs *if needed*)

Hi,
I'm staying in Titusville till the 15th of may and i'm in Orlando till the 17th of May, hopefully she will be launched before the 17th. What are the best spotting places in Titusville? Space view park?
