These ebay fellas are indeed the very definition of scum, and what luck that most people who sit in the waiting room are die-hard shuttle fans and this bozo is the one who gets in to order them.

How much does a Causeway ticket cost, purchased from the official Delaware North/KSCVC website?
About $75 after shipping and all. $200/ea isn't bad, I suppose. One could view it as paying for a service (I dragged my butt out of bed at 5:30 to wait an hour for nothing); it might have been easier to pay someone else to stand in line for me, so to speak. The guy asking $900 each is out of his mind.
It's too bad that NASA has outsourced VC ops to DNC. They could maybe fund the program by selling LTTs direct at a demand driven (i.e. auction) price!

All I wanted was one ticket and these crooks have got six just for profit: Any contact from KSC who can trace these people to either have the tickets revoked or voided?

I don't think that will happen - it's not worth their effort to do so. It's not NASA/KSC operating it, it's Delaware North.
Selling tickets like this is not unusual, just look at any sporting event. While I wish this was different, it's not.
I'm still not sure how I'm getting tickets as I don't want to pay $300+ on ebay but wish there was a way to get new causeway tickets if scrubbed from Gator/Dolphin.
I'm assuming you need to get back on the Dolphin/Gator bus when they take you to the causeway (no way to get on a KSC bus)?

This Twitter graph gives an insight of how hot the tickets are.
The bubble in the middle is from failed sales attempt on Thursday.
Don't know what the initial bump with "water", "body", and "found" is, though!

Keep trying ebay. I just missed out on a full LTT with two tickets for ~$400. And ebay/paypal has "full buyer protection" for florida tickets in compliance with FL state law. So buying and getting screwed should be protected against on ebay.

I know it is a lottery, but I kind of feel cheated here. My wife and I BOTH got past the captcha verification and then were told to retry due to high transaction volume. NOT due to no available tickets, but because the server is too busy....
The same story here - I also feel cheated!!!
I also got an offer to buy tickets and then the following message:
"We're sorry, we were unable to process your request due to high transaction volumes. Please try to submit your request again."

What exactly does the Dolphin package include? If I am staying in Titusville is their package still usable for me?

Just confirmed 4 tickets through Viator, which sells for Dolphin. Give it a try. Used coupon code 7fab to get 7% off. Good luck!

They have NASA Causeway tickets but they pickup by bus from Orlando and Cocoa Beach only.
I am not staying Cocoa Beach (all good staff is sold out) I will have to drive by car 60 miles to their pickup location.

Same thing here but I kept using the browser back button to the captcha verification and eventually it went through!

can't you just ask the dolphin/gator driver to drop you off at the VC ?
How you get back to Orlando or wherever is up to you, after you repurchased LTT tickets.

Yeah, that's what I'm wondering. Dophin said they might go back to VC after launch because it's still open, so if that's the case I could buy more LTT's...I have friends in the area that could pick me up. Not sure if they'll actually drop off or not. According to the rep at Dolphin, nobody can go back to the causeway for a second attempt even if they buy from KSC/Delaware North, which as we all know isn't true if they buy more tickets.

Capitalism...not that I like it, but the demand is driving the price.
What's ticking me off is the ticket brokers (such as ebay "**ticket-solution**) that some how managed to get a lot of tickets and are just turning them around for a 500% profit.
Random thought: What ticket sellers should do for high demand events is implement a system where ticket prices vary not just due to seating location, but size of order. Sell the first two LTTs for $50 ea., the next two for $100, etc. The die-hard fan that wants a ticket for him and a friend gets in cheap, and the ticket-broker wanting a larger block has to deal with a smaller profit margin. Granted, larger groups may suffer a little too, but it may be a net improvement over the status quo...
