Launch is schedule for 1826:57UTC.

Remember that this is a 9 hour plus mission!!!

According to ILS, the Proton M launch vehicle will use a 5-burn Breeze M mission design. The first three stages of the Proton will use a standard ascent profile to place the orbital unit (Breeze M upper stage and the EchoStar XIV satellite) into a sub-orbital trajectory. From this point in the mission, the Breeze M will perform planned mission maneuvers to advance the orbital unit first to a circular parking orbit, then to an intermediate orbit, followed by a transfer orbit, and finally to a geosynchronous transfer orbit.  Separation of the EchoStar XIV satellite is scheduled to occur approximately 9 hours, 10 minutes after liftoff.

Thank you for the updates.........I assume there is no visible or audio evidence of the impending last seconds of the countdown?

At this time there is no signal on the TV Tsenki webcast. The Khrunichev webcast and the ILS webcast will start later...

So, during the TV Tsenki webcast they usually show some images of the preparations for launch... Here we have some...

At this time we have no webcast from Tsenki, but hopefully we will have the ILS webcast that will start some minutes before launch. ILS webcast is available at http://ils.imgondemand.com/ .

Does the Proton first stage break up upon re-entry creating two impact areas?
