Which pad exactly was used - PU24? Is PU23 still operational?
Any idea on the serial numbers of the launcher and the upper stage ?

I imagine we are in for another few weeks of the usual confusion about whether or not these new satellites will get Kosmos numbers?

And I think these sats are considered military birds in some way, so they should receive those numbers, in fact they are Kosmos 2456, Kosmos 2457 and Kosmos 2458.

Three GLONASS navigation satellites were launched by the Proton carrier rocket. We plan another three launches in 2010, which will bring nine satellites into orbit and thus fulfil President Dmitry Medvedev's objective of completing the GLONASS satellite grouping of 24 satellites by the end of 2010.Vladimir Putin: Currently there are 19 satellites in orbit, aren't there?Anatoly Perminov: Correct. These three satellites have to be introduced into the grouping to ensure their effectiveness and bring them into operation. Then we must...Vladimir Putin: Wait a second. How many satellites will be in orbit by the end of this year?Anatoly Perminov: By the end of next year there will be...Vladimir Putin: No, I mean this year.Anatoly Perminov: We will have 19 operational satellites.Vladimir Putin: And by the end of 2010?Anatoly Perminov: If everything goes according to plan we should launch another six satellites.Vladimir Putin: And one will be taken out of service?Anatoly Perminov: Possibly. As for the project's commercial aspect, we have established a national operator that is now active and has formed a board of directors. The first meeting of the board was chaired by Sergei Shoigu at the National Emergency Management Centre, where the activities will be planned both for Moscow and nationwide.Vladimir Putin: What about international cooperation within the GLONASS project?Anatoly Perminov: International cooperation is based on mutually beneficial terms. The one due for replacement in 2010 was the 1st Uragan-M number 701; but it gave up after only six years; weren't they supposed to have a seven year lifespan (at least)? (Uragan had three year; and the special Uragan 711 was supposed to last five)
As for next year 2010; if they do launch a Uragan-K then it's supposed to be tested for two years before joining the constellation?
