I just saw a very beautiful pass by ISS followed closely by Atlantis here in South Georgia.
Great Pass!!
I also could not find the viewing thread.

Just saw the ISS and STS, just two fist-widths apart from just north of New York City, on schedule and very bright. The two scooting along in the same part of the sky was very impressive. (And I've seen this before.)
(Couldn't find the ISS viewing thread!)
A great ending to our Thanksgiving Day. Also check out the just-past-first quarter moon and Jupiter tonight. They are wonderful, even in binoculars.

I just saw the Shuttle and Station pass too. Here's a picture, a little blurry:

That was great for you to get the two together!
The shuttle was brighter than I expected, I should have taken a photo!
I've taken photos before, usually a 15 second exposure to get some stars in the background. The shuttle usually is much fainter and sometimes harder to get on camera.

Thanks guys! That was shot with a Canon 40D and 500mm L with a 1.4x teleconverter. The images were slightly cropped also.
I hope to make the February launch, I have seen a few but ever since I have become more avid in photography it seems that I miss ever launch by a week or so, so hopefully I will actually get to see the next haha
Here is one more.

Would you happen to post a full sized version for us? That's some very nice photography, just would be nice to see what detail you can actually see.
Thanks! Again, very nice pictures.

Just realized that if you look at the TPS and SSME/OMS, you can see the heat distortion from re-entry. That's pretty awesome.
Again, amazing photo.
