Mike Moses – A Man for All Seasons?

This probably doesn’t warrant its own thread but I wasn’t quite sure where else to post it. But I just wanted to say what a genuinely affable chap Mike Moses seems. I’ve watched a number of press conferences and status briefings over the last few months and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a grumpy Mike Moses. He turns up time after time full of enthusiasm and appears genuinely happy to speak to the press (even when things aren’t going so well). Some of his explanations can be (as he himself admits) a bit “long winded” but rather that than some po-faced NASA bureaucrat who just gives monosyllabic answers to any question put to them!
Of course, the people who work for Mike (including his first line reports) might not agree (!) but I reckon he’s a decent fellow.
I still love his quote from one of the STS-127 launch scrubs:
“My name might be Moses but I can’t control the weather!”
