First of two programmes in which Jeff Hoffman meets a new generation of astronauts rising from the ranks of amateur enthusiasts and rich entrepreneurs.

Just a quick heads-up, this looks good! Jeff Hoffman is a five times Shuttle vetran including a HST mission.

PS you can listen to radio 4 in the internet at http://bbc.co.uk/radio4/ or for a week after airing the show will be available on the X factor website.

I thought it was ok, the description of a shuttle launch was good :) nothing new for us space junkies but better than nothing. I wonder what next week will bring.

Who was playing?  Chicago Bears vs Green Bay Packers?  Or was it Arena Football?  Oh, I know spring practice for your favorite college team.

Wait a minute, you are across the pond, so it must be the other "futbol", soccer

What the hell is futbol?

Are you talking about where fat people get out of breath after five seconds and no one else in the world cares about such a boring sport?

Futbol is Spanish for Football.

To avoid confusion, everyone should refer to American Football as Helmetball - and Soccer as Football, cause I own this site and I say so ;)

Ok, let's not go down that route :)
