Got the cargo pod of the Side Mount HLV done. I decided to do the crewed version of the launch vehicle.

Look forward to seeing that done, gladiator.  I've got so many Revell shuttle kits in my stash that I could see myself working on one if it gets picked as the cargo and/or crew launch vehicle for the future.  But it would take quite a bit of scratchbuilding to do that...oh well, I do need to get my stash down.
I'll even excitedly look forward to "flags and footprints" and suborbital missions. Just fly...somewhere.

Nice work!  It would be interesting to see one displayed next to a current STS stack.

I was actually considering doing that.

My next project is going to be a Jupiter 130. I previously built a Jupiter 120, but it was one of my first models and I have improved a bit since then.

It should be cool to see the Sidemount next to the Jupiter. And then a Shuttle stack next to them. A nice display of true Shuttle Derived designs.

I'm almost finished with a new space program related model.

After I finished the Saturn V I got to work on the 1/32 Apollo CSM and 1/48 Apollo LEM kits I had.  I suffered a setback with the CSM but the LEM is done!  I still have to work on the base and figures.

Wow! That looks great. I may have to start looking into doing some of the historic models. The trouble with trying to tackle new concepts like Not Shuttle C, Ares, or Jupiter is stuff keeps changing over night.

Thanks, gladiator.  I'll post the LEM on the base when it's finished.  This is the 1/48 Monogram Heritage Edition kit.  The 1/32 Apollo is the Monogram Young Astronauts kit.

I'm sticking to the shuttle and the Apollo program (and Mercury/Gemini, etc.) for now, I'm not going to build an Orion until close to its first flight, who knows what it will look like?

I'm thinking of looking for a Gemini model...always has been my favorite spacecraft. I'll have to do a Big Gemini as well, my favorite "What If?" of all time.

Thanks Harry.

As for a Gemini....well, I've got the 1/48 Mercury/Gemini combo set as well as the 1/24 Gemini both from Revell.  I may do the 1/48 Mercury/Gemini next.  I understand Revell did a 1/48 Apollo CSM but it's not accurate, and I don't think it's easily available or been reissued.  I don't want to get the 1/48 Real Space kit as it's pricey and I'm not fully comfortable with resin, not for full models anyway...but I do want to have the models in constant scale.

Gladiator, I think the Revell Gemini kits are still somewhat available.

Just got the Jupiter-130 core completed. I just have to work on the engine bells a little bit more to get them looking nicer.

I know there has been talk from Ross about changing up the boat-tail to a more conventional cluster configuration, but I have to say that boat-tail is pretty unique and just looks nice on Jupiter.

I keep hoping we'll get to see the real thing rolling in on the barge to KSC.

This one has to be the ultimate LM model... 1/24 scratchbuilt. Built by someone named Vincent Mean.

Nice! I'd love to sneak this kit along with the 1/32 CSM into my unbuilt pile...

I never realized it was asymmetric.

Because of the huge setback to my 1/32 Apollo CSM, I ended up getting a new Buzz Aldrin Rocket Hero boxing of that kit....now I'm working on it.  Here's some progress shots:

Nice work Bubbinski!

Thanks ckiki lwai.

I'll have some more pictures later....I've assembled the CM now.  I need to do a little touchup on the paint.
