The launch video of my Jupiter-120 is up on the Direct web site...Ross was so kind to host it.  For those interested, click here (or right mouse click and save...) It is about 8.6MB.  My two oldest sons assisted me with the launch & video :)

Glad to be of assistance David!

Looking forward to seeing some more Jupiter's flying too with Dr. Zooch's kit coming soon.   I think we could probably host a lot of such video's if people want to do them :)

Now, there's a challenge for y'all ;)

Say fellas is this drawing accurate to scale for a 1/72 scale model? http://www.ninfinger.org/~sven/models/vault2007/R-7/soyuz-blueprint.jpg My next project is the Soyuz booster to go with my shuttle fleet.

Looks close enough; I have that same drawing in my files.  I plan to
build a scale Vostok & Voskhod flying model rocket (when I get the time)...

What about the G. Harry Stine Vostok articles in Model Rocketry magazine on the ninfinger site?  How accurate are they? The links are pdf scans of the entire magazine

Those drawings by G. Harry Stine are good, too.  I also have those saved
in my files.

Wow!  Where did you get that?  Recently?  That's one I have to have

I've had it for years, only recently finished it. I'm too chicken to fly it since I built it a little heavy. I've seen tyhem go for over $100 on ebay. For just a few dollars more, I'd buy the 1/24 scale Mercury Atlas from Sheri's Hot Rockets.

Yes, I might go that route too (get Sheri's version), but I'm not into HPR.
I can probably figure a way to cluster three 24 mm BP motors and fly it
like that.

Not sure if that was posted here already, but Revell is planning to issue a "40 Jahre Mondlandung" (40th Aniversary of the Lunar Landing) series in March 2009.
It will consist of:
- 1/96 Saturn V
- 1/8 Apollo Astronaut Steps on the Moon
- 1/96 Columbia & Eagle
- 1/48 Eagle
- 1/32 Apollo Spacecraft
Visited Shuttles (so far):
OV-104, OV-105

I want to build Orion 1:10 scale model, including Parachutes, and RCS system. But, I don't have very good blueprints, and what I want to ask is does anyone have CAD drawings or anything else detailed enough to build model.

We had a great model rocket club launch down in Needville, TX yesterday and had a blast!  I was able to fly my vintage Centuri 1/100
scale Saturn - V (only this time, without the clear addon fins) and my
new SEMROC 1/70 scale Apollo Little Joe - II (QTV round).  The Saturn
was having its' second flight and the Little Joe its' first.  Both flew very
well!

The last two pics below is that of my Hawks Hobby Super Mark model;
couldn't resist the final pic, with the Super Mark drifting back to Earth
and the Moon looking on!

An update:  One of our club member submitted his video clip of the Centuri Saturn - V launch.  Watch it with Windows Media at 0.5 speed.
The club member's name is Scott Stephenson.  Enjoy!!

Neat video! I never realized how low those Sat V mod rockets actually flew. All of the Sat V's I've built have been shelf sitters.
