Try half a weeks pay, very dangerous indeed
Uh yeah, the KSC gift shop is a place I never leave without a bunch of stuff! I'd be broker than broke if I lived in Titusville, within easy reach of the KSC visitors center.

I caused the lady to drop jaw at the check out when she realized i wasn't kidding when I told her that it wasn't all for other family members, but for me alone

A great moment in life

Good grief. I think I need to look at getting a second job then...LOL. That place will be like going into a Snap-On truck...Lord help me.
Some great pictures of the STS-125 SRB splashdown can be found at this site:
http://picasaweb.google.com/EnnisCM/STS125BI134SRBRetrieval#The site mentions the SRBs are set BI-134, but I believe this should be BI-137, as the 134 set was used on STS-124. Looking at the date of the pictures (May 11), it shows that the pictures do correlate to the STS-125 launch.
The photo information on the right-side links says the pictures are from May 31, 2008 (launch of STS-124) and these are identical to the L2 pics of STS-125 booster splashdown too... Interesting...
Confirmed by downloading them that they were all taken May 31, 2008 so were definitely not from STS-125...
iamlucky - I would estimate that we were about 9 miles out from the east end of the runway (measuring with google earth)
