No, they only have to drive a single bolt during EVA 1 to secure it to Hubble's underside. It will be attached in the current berthing mechanism, IIRC. There's some info about it in the EVA preview conference

Just because they are downlinking the images doesn't mean they are guaranteed to show up on L2. I bet some will, others will be free, but it's not just L2 users that will get them.
