What is the TMA-01M Soyuz and what are the differences between it and the other TMA Soyuz spacecraft?

This is a so-called 700-series Soyuz. The major differences from the previous 200-series are:
1. New computer control system - TsVM-101 instead of old analog Argon-16
2. New telemetry system (MBITS) instead of the old analog one.
All these systems are currently being tested on a 400-series unmanned Progress missions. (Progress M-01M etc)

Translation made with a web-translator:
Reserve manned spacecraft Soyuz TMA-20 will be delivered to the Baikonur launch site in late August for the launch vehicle safety net of a new modification of the Soyuz TMA-01M, told Interfax-AVN on Tuesday, a source at the cosmodrome.
"According to the schedule, the Soyuz TMA-20 arrives at Baikonur on August 27. Its launch is scheduled for December 10. Such an early delivery of the spacecraft to Baikonur lies in the fact that he is a substitute for a new series of spacecraft" Soyuz TMA-01M, the launch which is scheduled for Oct. 8, "- said.
It seems a procedure for the maiden launch of Soyuz TMA- xx M series.
My question:
If TMA-01M is not ready, does Kaleri’s crew will fly TMA-20?

New ISS Сrew Sits Exams before Space Expedition.
It is test time for the crew who are lining up for the next mission to the International Space Station. If the spacemen pass the necessary medical tests and training, they should be ready for launch in October.
Russian cosmonauts Aleksandr Kaleri and Oleg Skripochka, NASA astronaut Scott Kelly and their back up crew will take part in a complex training session on mockups of the Russian segment of the ISS and also Soyuz spacecraft.
During the exam, cosmonauts will have to perform different test tasks. According to deputy head of the cosmonaut training center Yury Gidzenko, they will be asked to tackle different emergency situations.
“We have 50 years of cosmonaut training experience and we know what extraordinary situations may occur. We assign 50 of them at the exam,” he said.
Cosmonauts will receive grades for their work. Following the exam, a special commission will name the main and back up teams. Crews will then head to Baikonur space center where they will try on their space suits.
On their mission the crew will perform a number of assignments. They will test a new Soyuz spacecraft with digital system of controls and fulfill their scientific program when at the station.
“For the Russian section the main areas are biology, medicine, geophysics, and we will continue the distant monitoring of the Earth. We will carry out 41 experiments. That is hundreds of sessions, so it is a pretty packed program,” said Aleksandr Kaleri.
The crew is scheduled to take off to space on October 8 and their expedition will last for six months.

New ISS Crew Passes Preflight Exams.
Twо-day-integrated training began yesterday in Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center.
The mission of Russian Soyuz TMA-01M crew vehicle is rather special this time, due to new systems installed in the ‘digital’ version of the Soyuz.
According to the Soyuz commander Alexander Kaleri, one of the main tasks for the crew during the mission slated to begin on October 8, is to perform flight testing of the new systems – new onboard computer and telemetry system.
Kaleri is one of the most experienced Russian cosmonauts, GCTC Chief Sergey Krikalev states. “Kaleri can work without any preparation, he can even teach the instructors, due to his experience… This is very important this time, as the crew training was carried out in parallel with the Soyuz development”, Krikalev says.
He also added that two Russians are in the Soyuz crew this time in order to “improve mission reliability”.
The integrated training traditionally cover two steps. Prime crew led by Kaleri, with Oleg Skipochka and Scott Kelly, passed the exam in the ISS RS mockup. Their backup, Sergey Volkov, Oleg Kononenko and Ronald Garan, were showing their skills in the Soyuz simulator. Today the crews will swap.
After the exams, Commission will evaluate knowledge of the crews, giving them 5-point marks. To fly, the crew must get 4.8 minimum.
Inter-agency Board will meet on Sept. 17 to approve the crews.

Soyuz TMA-01М Crew Passes Preflight Exams Successfully.
Soyuz TMA-01М prime and backup crews completed integrated training session in Soyuz TMA and ISS simulator today. The examination board evaluated their knowledge as excellent.
Prime crew- Alexander Kaleri, Oleg Skripochka and Scott Kelly were fighting different off-nominals, such as failures of the Electron oxygen regeneration system and UHF-transmitter, fire in the ISS, various contingencies of the modified Soyuz.
To remind, Soyuz TMA-01М with new telemetry and onboard computer systems is due to fly to the International Space Station on Oct. 8.
Press conference of the crews will take place at GCTC on Sept. 17.

Plush Monkey to Indicate Zero-Gravity in Soyuz TMA-01M.
Plush monkey will become a talisman for the new expedition of the International Space Station. The monkey will also indicate weightlessness in the Soyuz TMA-01M vehicle during the launch sequence, Soyuz commander Alexander Kaleri told news media during the pre-flight conference at GCTC.
Speaking about the mission, Kaleri said that the crew is to make 3 EVAs and to carry out a variety of scientific experiments, including unique Plasma Crystal he personally likes best.
Soyuz TMA-01M is due to fly from Baikonur on Oct. 8, RIA Novosti informs.
