STS-125 payloads to pad: April 18
STS-400 rollout to pad B: April 21
Last I saw/heard, the intent was to move 400 rollover to 10 April, and rollout to pad to 17 April.
Yes, I saw those same dates (10 and 17) just yesterday. I recall because I put them in my Outlook calendar so I wouldn't miss the events. I can't recall where I saw it (Harwood's site) because I was reading stuff everywhere yesterday, so I'm unable to confirm the source.

Seems amazing to me that the entire pad/stack sit on what amounts to match sticks in the ground... I am assuming that the pad is held up by a few of this white towers??
Right. They're not quite as fragile as matchsticks, though.

Is the crawler limited to 1mph all the time or is that just the limit when it's carrying the shuttle stack and MLP?

Yes, I thought maybe it was padrat. The crawler transport is 1 mph loaded and 2mph empty if I recall.

If I undestand correctly, this is the MLP-2.

It must be a bit intimidating standing there with so much weight hanging almost directly over your head... BUt on the other hand,, I would love to stand there.. I kind of envy him..

In the NASA TV view at the moment we can obviously see 39A and 39B. How far apart are the two pads? This camera angle is deceptive and shrinks the distance.

Looks like the platform has been lowered a few inches so far.
