Aren't the yellow bars suppose to be removed before launch? Or are those permanent?

Those are strongbacks that are placed on the payloadbay doors during processing, this image was taken during payload canister arrival to the pad.

Thanks Ronsmytheiii. I didn't realize that was an old image. It was sent by twitter and I don't remember looking to see the date of the pic.

I have a question and dont know if this is the right place...
I know the ET falls after MECO but at what height (miles) is that. How long does it take to fall? And at what point in the above the Earths surface (miles) does it fall apart..thank you!
