Everyone's been pretty good at keeping the threads on their subjects for STS-119. But yes, good idea to set this up ahead of the launch day thread.

Best of luck with tanking whilst I'm at school, will be hard to keep up with.  Hope things go well, and we can get off the ground in a little under 14 hours.

Godspeed, Discovery.

Let's hope they can get Discovery off in the next 3-4 days. Yesterday's scrub was a real shame after all the hard work on the FCVs. I felt sorry for the astronauts, the launch team, and also Candrea Thomas who'd clearly had her hair done especially for the occasion!

Okay, now hoping for a birthday launch -- on March 15th.  It'll be my 40th, and I can't think of a better way to celebrate than with a nice big SRB candle! (two actually)

Off the top of my head, don't think there's ever been a shuttle launch on March 15.  Go Discovery!!!!

Go Discovery!  Good to hear that tanking's gone well.

That bat that's hanging out on the ET is going to be crispy fried in 4 hours.

I'll even excitedly look forward to "flags and footprints" and suborbital missions. Just fly...somewhere.

Sorry to bump, but that time is fast approaching...

Thanks for the great views Discovery!
We were dazzled by the new ISS configuration, and some great EVAs.
I got to see my two-dot in the sky config with you leaving the ISS, and it was such a joy to see.

Fantastic job Mike on getting the DA #2 installed and the UPA working!

Glad to see you back Sandy! Hope you had a great time.

See you all soon, and have a safe and great landing tomorrow.

Congratulations Discovery and the STS-119 team!  This will always be the first mission that I ever saw launch with my own eyes (not for lack of trying).   And hopefully not the last.

With the completion of 100% power and the repair and commissioning of the new water system, the legacy of STS-119 will be that it was the final step in allowing us to finally start research in earnest.  This beast is an international crown jewel.  OK, research community, get to work!  Make us proud.
