Block of three Glonass-M satellites was docked with upper stage block of three Glonass-M satellites yesterday.

This time will be used for Glonass "white" rocket? (In the background)

"This time will be used for Glonass "white" rocket? (In the background)"

That´s possible.
The silver ones with white upper-stage and silver payload-fairing looks a bit "strange". ;-)

What about a white (Block-DM) payload-fairing, comparable with the Briz-M from Express-AM44 and MD-1.

Color depends on the payload. If the load is very important the white painting is ommitted to maximize the perormance.

Do you have a source for this information?

The Proton that lifted Ekspress-AM44 to orbit was all white.

I wonder if it could be also to do with long term storage of the rocket?

"Color depends on the payload. If the load is very important the white painting is ommitted to maximize the perormance. "

Hmm, I don´t think that.
In my collection I have different "color-styles" for the same type of payload. (Raduga, Glonass, Express series)
Also I have images of 4 different "silver paint-schemes.

The paint has to be there for a reason.

Remember reading in Novosti Kosmonavtiki some in 2000 were mixed rockets; serial number listed is that of the first stage. Might explain different colour schemes. Sirius 3 and Globus were started by new unpainted rockets?

The only explicit mention of unpainted Proton to save weight was for Salyut. What about Mir or Kvant; were they unpainted?

Yes, -saving weight- is a plausible solution. I also think that... for the stations.
I don´t have good images of the MIR base-block and Salyut-1 rockets and nothing from Kvant-1.
But for Priroda, Kristall and Kvant-2 and also one Salyut/Almaz; white rockets were used.

We will see, which color the launcher will have. ;-)
Also an interesting fact would be the weight of the paint.
Does someone have some information?

Unpainted missiles - The Proton-K rocket that was one of several options how to increased carrying capacity (individual rocket).
The Proton-M rocket color scheme corresponds to a series of rockets. Again unpainted rocket carrying capacity is higher (a series of rockets). White color is used again when the carrying capacity increased by other means (eg Phase III). And to further increase capacity again unpainted.

I watch 6 (2 x Phase III) color schemes rocket Proton-M.

Hmm, I meant for example the Glonass-launches on Proton-K.
There were silver and white rockets. Each had writings/markings on it.

And also for Express-AM 1/2/3 satellites, different paint-schemes for their rockets were used.
The AM1 and AM3 were white with writings; the AM2 was silver with markings.
For them, the same type of rocket (serial 410) were used.

I confirm: sometimes, depending on the spacecraft weight, Proton is or not painted. I don't remenber the launch but within the last three years, Proton is without paint and this was mentioned by russian side.

Seems that Roscosmos have published official  launch time:

Quote
Baikonur Space Port: intensive operations with Proton-M/DM-2/cluster of three Glonass-M satellites continue at Baikonur.  Specialists of the rocket and space industry completed assembly and tests of the launch vehicle.
MLI cover is installed today on the space upper composite.
Proton-M undergoes final operations, to be followed by rocket accommodation on the transport car.
The roll-out is planned on Feb. 26.
The launch is to take place on March 2, at 0:19 Moscow time.
Quoted from: http://www.roscosmos.ru/main.php?id=2&nid=8804&lang=en

Is there any official photo galleries about this launch? How about flight profile graphs etc? I have tried to find those but so far I have been unsuccessful.
Broken man-made things can be fixed (if you find the pieces).
