Is it possible to confirm that the 11K68 Tsyklon-3 with Koronas-Foton was already transported to the launch platform?

Is this confirmation reliable enough ?  :-)

The reason of delay was - blowoff(or dump?) valve on 2nd stage failed prestart test. Problem solved, and next try will be Friday 16.30 (Moscow time) launch window 15 min.

TASS at 0340 gmt Jan 30 says delay is now 'indefinite'. The State Commission will decide shortly.

Excerpt: ""The reason of the delay is the faulty onboard equipment of the second stage of the rocket, which was exposed during pre-start checks," the official said adding fuel is being discharged from the booster."

Having read that article, I think that they may still be trying for today, but I'm not sure.

According to a publication today at Vesti.ru:

http://www.vesti.ru/doc.html?id=247521&cid=10

They are going to launch today.

They also mention that the rocket is old and this has contributed to the problem.

Does anyone know, if there are more Tsiklon-3 rockets in storage after this launch?

Good. If Vesti have published something about it there's a good chance of live coverage.

Let's hope this goes better than the last Ukrainian launch on 30 January...

This is generally beleived to be the last Tsyklon-3 (and probably the last Tsyklon of any description, unless the Tsyklon-4 is developed).

I hope so, it looks like a cool rocket :)
Maybe the mods can already move it for live coverage?

By the way is this the first scientific Russian spacecraft since 2001, excluding Fotons?

We need it to be webcast for it to be live coverage. Can someone confirm?

Unfortunately they don't possess the needed techinque on Plesetsk and most probably there won't be live broadcast. But they promise photos soon after launch.

This is what a friend of mine told me.
