I am curious, given the Dnepr launch delays experienced by the THEOS team, would they now advise against the Dnepr for Sun-synch Orbit delivery?
Are the other Russian launchers also at risk of last minute prohibitions from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan for SSO?
much thanks
Dan
p.s. I am also wondering why Theos was launched from Dombarovskiy (Yasny) rather than Baykonur
Unless ISCK finds new measures for Yasny or move to Baikonur, future launches will be problematic. Theos launch was exceptiaonal due to triple push from French, Russian and Thai Governments to Khazakhistan.
I think users going to SSO have no choice now but to maintain compatibility with a non-Russian launcher as long as possible during design phase...

(p.s. I am told Yasnoye trajectory yields better performance to SSO than Baikonur.)

Politically I agree but in reality tell us how?
