Soyuz-U rocket is launched.
Andrey, do you have the exact launch time and the 11A511U Soyuz-U serial number?
Thanks!

Live webcast is on http://www.vesti.ru/video1.asx?vid=onair
Dang, I lost it! But thanks a million for the link, it seems Progress launches are at last starting to get transmitted, good move by Roskosmos' PR. Will Vesti be providing coverage from now on? Only of Progress/ISS launches or can we also expect some less common ones? I know, I know, getting to excited

Tanks of Progress M-65 cargo ship were fuelled by propellants and compressed gases yesterday.
Progress M-65 will deliver new Orlan-MK (# 4 as per my source) spacesuit for ISS.
Two other Orlan-MK (# 5 and # 6 as per my source) spacesuits will arrive aboard Progress M-66 in February 2009.
Andrey, is this the first Orlan to be launched since M-27 on Progress M-49?

I understand Friday's P30 docking will be postponed due to Hurricane Ike's closing of MCC-H. Anyone have a new docking date/time?

Likely Wednesday. But that is still being worked. MCC-M is assessing how long they can loiter.

Actually, you are a bit late here by a few decades.
Progress 30 actualy docked with the Mir Complex on May 21st, 1987. It has nothing to do with ISS.

Would you know the stripe color for each one? (For my
records
)
There's 3 photos
here (scroll down a bit) of the MK at the Japanese "NPO Intercos" site (suit #3, red stripes, on display), and one RIAN photo
here (#2, blue stripes).

There is tradition of NPP Zvezda. If the serial number has last even digit, then the spacesuit has blue stripes, if last odd digit, then red stripes. So spacesuits #4 and #6 have blue stripes, #5 - red stripes.

As I know, Orlan-MK #1 was used in the series of destructive tests. Like 100kg hammer on helmet or high speed particles penetration, like micrometeorite hits. It should be sort of devastated now. So its stripes color doesn't really matter.

On another forum, we were wondering if Progress M65 already had the digital mods. According http://www.friends-partners.org/pipermail/fpspace/2007-August/023644.html it was supposed to, but the news is one year old so maybe it has changed
New TsVM-101 computer and new MBITS compact digital onboard informing telemetry system will be on Progress M-01M cargo ship, the launch of which is planned on November 26th, 2008.

Thanks. According the
ISS Daily Reports, the 26th of November is the launch date of Progress M-66 so I guess Progress M-01M and M-66 are the same (different designations)

In RSC Energia's internal plan of ISS flight the launch of Progress M-01M (#401) cargo ship is scheduled for November 26, 2008 and of Progress M-66 (#366) - for February 10, 2009.
