I wonder if those are the KSC tour buses there in the above screen shot, they are getting a bonus view today if they are! ;)

I bet they are.  My next-door neighbor was taking the tour on the same day of a landing and witnesses a close up view of the landing and what you’re seeing above.

Great screen shots, Ford, excellent coverage throughout the mission! It is appreciated by all, thank you! :) This is going to be the last views of Discovery that we see out in the open until next January if the current schedule holds :(

Wow, thank you, that would be an awesome sight to see!

I think they're orbiter agnostic.  I've seen 'em with other orbiters -- all the other orbiters.  :P

The next job will be to get her on centerline to the OPF 3 bay, let's see how long it takes them to line her up through the door openings ;)

Kelly: I have the best shuttle crew, probably the best in history! ... This is hard work, going to space.  Been over a year in training, and for Garrett, he's been training for three or four years.

Garrett's in this one too!

"We should get more short people in the astronaut office!  I'm feeling really good.  Kept up with the counter-measure very rigorously on orbit.  I think you're right, I'm feeling good because I'm short... finally, it comes in handy for something other than limbo contests!"

Questioner:  Would you like to spend another 3 months on the ISS?

Garret:  Not right now *laughter*.  In the future once the 6 person crew comes in.. that'd be nice.  We'll see how it plans out.
