Quick note of thanks to Ford, Kneecaps, et al for their excellent coverage again during this live event thread, and also for the aforementioned and the numerous others during the Flight Days.

Really worked out well for this mission, and importantly frees me to write the articles for the flight days (which is a full day job when collating the content for L2 and highlighting into news articles - in the style of this site's priority for exclusive news).

Very proud of the team we have here, as we come to the end of another record readership for a mission (it's gone up for every mission since we started with RTF - even if the thread counter is broken on this new forum format and doesn't reflect real numbers).

We pride ourselves on processing coverage, so it doesn't slow down on here. We'll have post flight processing for 124, heading into STS-119 processing, and of course we now move into the business end of dual processing coverage for STS-125 and LON/STS-400 - STS-126 with Atlantis and Endeavour.

View from Playalinda was one of the best views of an approach we've had.
For the most part, the camera positions are the same.  What changes are the approach/flight path, the lighting, and the sky conditions...the latter two were nice today, but there are more cameras in the Complex 39 and KSC Industrial areas which are all south of the SLF.  Most of the approaches to the south / Runway 33 end of the runway provide more up-close views of the orbiter rolling out on final than for Runway 15.

Very nice landing!  Made it look easy.

Timing of drag chute deploy looked perfect to me as well.

Congrats to the entire crew for a great mission.

Many thanks to NSF for great coverage as usual.

TV15 and the rover camer were fantastic pictures, better than the safe stuff the NASA tv director pulled up live.  They need to stop playing it safe with live launch and landing coverage

NavySpaceFan referenced that Commander Kelly "hit the three wire".  Is that an aircraft carrier landing term?  Is that good?

The three wire is the preferred of the four arresting wires on a carrier.  The number 1 wire is too close to the stern of the ship, and you landed too short.  The number 4 wire is closest to the end of the angled flight deck, and you landed long.

Welcome home to Mark, Ken, Ron, Karen, Mike, Aki and Garret. Congratulations on a safe landing at KSC and for a job well done.

Chris, Ford and everyone at NSF, this has been my first mission here. Thank you for the excellent coverage and for making things really easy to follow. Am now looking forward STS-125 HST-SM4/LON 400.  8)

A heads up, that NASA TV will have Landing Site Operations Mgr Chris Hasselbring providing color commentary after landing between crew getting out of orbiter, through to as far as NTV will go with post landing ops.

So we should get some interesting insights into safing/ground crew ops etc.

Chris is on. Top man! :)

Chris Hasselbring is with Allard Butel, really giving an insight into what's going on right now.  Very nice.  Hope John44 is getting this.  If not, I should have it by tomorrow night.  :)

Thanks to everyone on the site here that've done a terrific job on the mission coverage. It's been great being able to come to this site and get up to speed on what has happened on orbit.

And now I'm looking forward to STS-125! It looks like I'm going to Florida to see the launch in person. I'm sure it will be great!!!

Nice "color" commentary from Mr. Hasselbring on procedures and history, such as the problems towing with the old brakes.
