Bringing Kibo camera bracket out of airlock:

Both coming out of the airlock now, go to install JPM TV assemblies, flanking the robot arm.

Fossum: "Let's get started!!"

Navias noting the new TurtleSkin modification for the gloves.

The cameras have been pre-configured inside ISS, so that they can be more easily installed.

sts1canada, do you have anything about KU?

Hi everyone, this is a FYI for EVA comm coverage for EVA #2 from me today, due to changing work schedules out of my control, I won't be able to follow the EVA coverage here on NSF & provide comm coverage for this EVA until it is halfway completed :( I will rejoin the coverage here when I can sometime during this EVA ;)

Orbiting complex now over Australia.

Online eeergo

Those cameras are going to provide one hell of a view, and probably will show a good angle for dockings, now that we've lost the truss view.

From the OBSS, looking down on the hard-working astros:

First releasing 3 bolts in the camera bracket installed on Kibo, to then attach the camera boom to that bracket and tighten the bolts again.

Anybody know the specs of the Kibo cameras?   I'm hoping they will be hi-def....
