Copy that Jim. There's a few on the back end of the FD5 thread, but I'm sure there will be plenty inbetween EVA-2 coverage on this one.

Hi everyone, this is a FYI for EVA comm coverage for EVA #2 from me today, due to changing work schedules out of my control, I won't be able to follow the EVA coverage here on NSF & provide comm coverage for this EVA until it is halfway completed :( I will rejoin the coverage here when I can sometime during this EVA ;)

Speaking of the CBM (from an earlier post), now that this hardware has been flying for 10 years, I'd love to see an analysis somewhere of what is good and bad in the design.  With the real flight experience, it would be interesting to read about what the engineers would do differently if they were starting over again.

In addition to the large access path the CBM provides, I think one of the best features is the ablity to pass fluid and electrical lines between modules without interfering with the hatch operation.  If you recall on the Mir station, to close a hatch you had to disconnect several lines.  After the Progress collission, this would have been scary to try and handle these disconnects in a hurry.
