Not sure about hatch opening procedures, as that wouldn't be interesting. There's plenty on Kibo in the FRR presentations.

Does anyone know if any images of the whole orbiter from ISS have been taken, because so far only 3 closeup shots (nose, Kibo & aft) have been uploaded to the STS-124 Gallery, which is very annoying as it feels like STS-122 all over again!

I'd love to know what constitutes a Funny, what constitutes an IPR, and what constitutes an IFR. I know there was the question in L2 the other day but I wasn't really any the wiser. What kinds of "fault" log types are there? Maybe you could do a little write up?

Getting ready to activate the toilet. They'll be going through several test runs and simulated uses.

I'm really glad that we get to listen in on this activity.

Toilet activated. Will keep it activated for a total of three minutes (about mid-way through now) before conducting 3 more tests.

Second activation now. There will be two more test runs after this one. They are dispensing a pre-treated chemical into the system to better monitor the unit's performance.

A flash from L2. NASA are checking into a recontact incident between Kibo and Discovery's payload bay during unberting. Will update when we know more.

A Japanese journalist thought he saw contact and asked about it during yesterday's press conference. I wonder if they are responding to his question (just to be safe) or if they independently noticed something?

I'm glad that the PAO is now using "toilet" vice "potty" like he was earlier this morning. He made the ISS sound like a pre-school.

CDRA R&R appears to be proceeding normally. Garret reporting an issue with making a "final turn," presumably of a connector, but MCC reports that this was expected.

Work continues on CDRA executed by Garrett Reisman and Gregory Chamitoff in the U.S. Destiny Laboratory module.

Oleg reports three successful test uses of the toilet. The chemical element added to the water (which I think is used to determine water/air flow) appears to be behaving as expected.

Edited to add : Testing is completed, but monitoring will continue. I think it's fixed!

Actually, that was rather funny. Garret said they couldn't get the last 360 degrees turned, and MCC stated that they this was expected. Then he added, "maybe you should have Karen give it a try."

The MCC mic cut off on a burst of laughter from the control room. Someone alertly switched the camera to the one watching the astronauts, but just missed their reaction. They were certainly grinning, though!
