now just out of curiosity, would it be a cruel joke to play on an astronaut to carry them in there when they're sleeping and have 3 or 4 guys hold them perfectly still, then leave? So if whoever woke up they'd be "stuck"?

Someone got stuck in Skylab a bit like that IIRC, they had to wait until the air circulation pushed them to one edge. They tried shouting but the other crew men were too far away to hear. Personally I'd take off my pants and throw them at the wall and hope nobody was watching

Do you think using the excuse 'it was only a physics experiment' would wash?

This is priceless! Chris, or whoever, I'd love to see a downloadable video of the last half hour or so, if someone was able to record from the 1.2Mbps stream. I'd probably even PAY for it!
