And are they trying to fix/figure out the left OMS issues?
Ok, so basically they will not try to figure out if its just instrumentation or something else until they're back on the ground? And they'll only use the (no longer redundant) left OMS when it's needed i.e. during the deorbit burn.Do I understand correctly?
What was the song?
Not heard of any prop margin issues with only using the left (with the right) for the purpose of deorbit.
AFAIK you can cross-feed propellant/oxydiezer between the two OMS-pods.
Hey all, first post here though I have been enjoying following STS missions on this site for a while now. You guys do great work!Had a question concerning the SARJ inspections yesterday. There were many comments stating that the depression noted was a pretty serious issue (as opposed to the "pancaking") and I was just wondering why that was. Does it seriously impact the possibility of repairing the problem?
Cover removed from the Kibo hatch...
Welcome to the site's forum, was explained on that FD4 thread. Keep reading that page with the comments surrounding the depression. Basically, it's going to take six EVAs over three missions to fix at this rate.
