Its the area where the 2 main TDRS can see the complex.  Fortunately a 3rd one fills in most of the time when its available

Thanks, could you also tell me what the abbreviation "ZOE" stands exactly for...?

Thanks again...

Already noted. The new forum's thread view counter is messed up. It's actually over 41,000 views for this thread so far.
perhaps the 4,000 are unique visitors chris, try checking that.......

I'd like to thank everyone for posting the entire events of the day, unfortunatelly I don't have time to follow it via NASA TV, so NSF is my updater.....

Online eeergo

In the last screen cap one of the petals in the unoccupied CBM seems to be open, does anybody have any idea why?

As Richard said, they performed inspections today to make sure Endeavour finds a safe CBM to install the next MPLM. They're still a bit wary about the bolt that came loose during 120 and has been missing ever since, fearing it may have installed itself inside the mechanism

It's been a pleasure to share this EVA with you all guys, hope to find time to do so tomorrow or in EVA 2. It's getting late here, so I'll catch up with the end of FD4 tomorrow, see you all!

I believe it's "Zone of Exclusion", a region where the main TDRS comm satelites don't cover you and you have to rely on other systems (including the TDRS Z spare satellite)

This will be my last update for today's EVA and FD 4, hope everyone enjoyed my updates, I like to fill in the gaps of coverage that the PAO has. The crew is inside the airlock preparing to close the airlock cover and hatch. 55 minutes to the next sunset, current PET 6:30. See you guys again for EVA 2. :)

Both spacewalkers are in the Quest Airlock, and the thermal cover is closed.

Oh wow.  Forgot that today is the 43rd anniversary of Ed White's spacewalk.  Is that Scott Altman on CAPCOM for a minute?  CAPCOM said it was appropriate that the two EVA guys were USAF.  Checking to see if the CAPCOM was Navy.  EVA saying he bets he wasn't a seal :D

Someone hasn't read the thread from the start ;)

Funny to see Kelly munching away, realizing he was on camera, moved away, CAPCOM called him, then he flew, literally, back into shot!  ;D
