Sunset is 34 minutes from now, they would prefer the sunlight to perform their SARJ inspection tasks to get a better look inside the joint, the next sunrise after this is in 68 minutes, 3 minutes from starting orbit 48 of STS-124.

Checking out the Datum A surface of the SARJ, a suspect spot on the race ring, feels rough to Mike, he cannot feel however if the "spot" is raised or depressed.  13 minutes to East handover, 29 minutes to sunset, EVAers are getting ready for the cleaning DTO.

A bit too close maybe, but it's reported as "clean".

Was this area as clean as it looks now?

Datum A is a depression... very bad news :(

PET is now almost 4:00, complex is passing southwest of Mexico City, Mike confirms the Datum A surface is a DEPRESSION, not a bump, he can now feel the surface is rough and it "drops in", NOT GOOD :(

Depression noted. So it's an indent on the race ring. That's not good news at all :(

'um... I've got a ready light on the flash, but I didn't see a flash...'
*takes cover off the flash*
'never mind.'

"I didn't see that!"

7 minutes to East, passing over the Gulf of Mexico now, this pass will take the complex over Georgia, the Carolinas, and up the East coast of the USA. 22 minutes to sunset.
