Last time we will see a docking from that camera.

We'll never see that angle of docking again, Kibo will be blocking it.

Notes have been appreciated Richard!

Thanks Chris for the kind words, I hope to provide similar updates like this during the 3 EVAs, when my work schedule permits.

Richard

Hey Ford, I was thinking the same thing but they are planning to install some cameras on the JEM during one of the EVAs during this flight and we may get a docking view (port side) from them during STS-126. This is just a guess on my part  ;)

No Auto Angular Flyout needed.

(Has it EVER been needed? The accuracy of the approach is so great!).

Yes, on one shuttle-Mir flight (81, I think), one early ISS flight (96?) and on 118. The 81 and 118 flyouts were due to inertial platform (BINS) misalignment on Mir and the ISS Russian segment. The early ISS flyout was most likely due to FGB control.

Expect the 3:30pm briefing to be pretty much all about the pad damage.

...missed then during STS-123 ;)

Yes I was around to follow STS-123 on NSF, but I had to be in bed when the EVAs occurred during the middle of night in my timezone (Eastern Daylight Time right now), this flight will be much better for me to cover as the EVAs are in the afternoon my time. ;)
