Wake up call!

Nice to hear Shannon as Capcom for wake up again...missed her on STS-123 ;)

Not sure what exactly the song was but it was played for Ken Ham. :)

Interesting "Human" part of human spaceflight.. When Shannon was reading the cryo config for the day she read the config for the overnight instead of the new settings.. Since the cryo settings were already in that config It was quickly realized and the Flight Director passed the correct piece of paper...

Note about the OMS problems:

Due to the L OMS TVC problem, NC2 will be cross fed left pod to R OME. In
addition, the NC2 burn is being declared critical requiring a Dual G2 config with a
stringing of 1221 to protect R OMS ignition.

Umbilical well images have been downlinked, and the handheld imagery will follow the same path about 30 minutes from now, as yesterday they didn't have time for either (noted in the Execute Package)

From the execute package, regarding the left OMS gimbale problem:

Failure:
During ascent, Left OMS Secondary TVC positions failed to null in both pitch and yaw. The most likely cause is a failure in the L OMS Secondary TVC power supply.

Impact:
L OMS Secondary TVC is failed resulting in loss of redundancy. Possible L OMS GMBL messages during NC2 burn (expect two messages during gimbal check).

Work around:
Left OMS has been parked through EOM CG. Remaining on-orbit OMS burns will be single engine using Right OMS. D/O burn will be dual engine using active Left OMS Primary TVC.

Did anyone record the flight deck playback?

Maybe if you did, you could amplify the audio a little bit and post it on the site? I'd love to hear it.

I'll provide some translation here.

Only the Right OMS engine will be used for the NC2 burn. The left OMS pod fuel and oxidizer will be 'cross fed' into the right OMS pod during the burn.

It's being considered a critical burn so that requires at least a Dual G2 computer configuration. This essentially means that 2 of the 5 shuttle GPCs will be used in a redundant configuration to control the burn.

With regards to the stringing. There are 4 flight 'strings', these 'strings' provide redundant control paths to redundant hardware. Each of the two computers is being given 2 of 4 flight 'strings' which allows either computer to ignite the OMS engine for the burn.

Current data for that burn is as follows:
TIG MET 000/17:19:48.790
Total DV:  19.4 fps.
Allow subject to scream. In space no one will hear.

Do you know what the burn duration will be with one engine active? I would guess something around.....22sec?
