Live PAO now!

'I can keep talking like this as long as I can, as long as 5 hours!  I'll try to not throw off the lip sync.. and I realize, Jen, that I need a bigger desk for all my stuff...  Gonna take myself off commentary, so I don't do anything stupid before we start!  *click*'

OK, I realize it's not about the count, but some nice unintentional comedy there...I wonder if they are partially staffed because it's the weekend.

(Also wonder what Mr. Beutel will think when he finds out that went out to broadcast.)

But the tank itself is about -300 Degrees Fahrenheit.  The liquid inside isn't warm, it's very very cold.

Yeah, what really drives the ice in warm weather is the humidity, which appears to be about 76% right now...

Every launch of the shuttle has happened above freezing - yet ice is still an impact - so there must be more to it than the current temperature (low-mid 80's)
Yeah, watch the LOX tank(s) of a Delta 2 or an Atlas 5 before/after tanking...

Ok everyone, we're heading into the business end of the count, so don't get upset if your comment gets deleted, it's to keep the updates tidy.

Can anyone supply me with the IP address of the nasa tv site?
My ISP is having issues with their DNS servers again, and I can't get any name resolution for nasa.gov
 :(

Check this USA proxy server:
64.66.192.62:port 80

No problems so far that the Launch Controllers are working to prevent launch at 5:02 PM. We're about an hour and four minutes away from the release of the T-3H Built In Hold.

The LH2 ECO sensors are working as planned.  This is great news.

'Very good and clean flow!'

73 IPR's in the flow so far, the other lowest record was 76 IPR's, and that was another Discovery launch.

Do you mean in terms of which one will be focused on main engine start?  Because 071 is "used" for every launch...
