I saw a dark-colored FRCS puff (I think) just after SRB-sep, a foam event that passed under the right wing soon after, and the one that bounced off the right underside way too late to be meaningful.
The puff was probably OMS assist start at SRB sep plus 10.

I saw 7 debris, but didn't notice if any of them stroke the TPS.

Actually that dark colored puff came from the OMS engines as the hypergolic fuels was allowed to flow through valves in the OMS engines and then ignite on contact, the hypergolic fuel nitrogen teroxide is reddish brown in color so we saw a bit of it before it burned.

Yeah, the moderator for HDNET is pretty good, as is their coverage. He always shows that video, here is the one from the last launch. Click on download/view this file:

Crew now moving to the Post Insertion checklist. The first tasks for PLT and CDR relate to the GPC configurations.

GPC 3 will be 'Freeze Dried' with the G2 (OPS 2 Orbit) software.

Dual G2 configuration will be used with  GPCs 1 & 2 with G2 (OPS 2, Orbit) software.

GPC 3 will be used as the SM (System Management) GPC.

The post launch press conference is scheduled for around 6pm EDT  22:00GMT would not surprise me if it is a little delayed due to the debris detection.

There's MANY things that can delay the conferences, debris incidents being only one of them.  There's always been debris incidents on every mission, even if very small, and no indication nothing is abnormal at this point.

Sorry, but that is rediculous. Even if there was a dangerous hit, which this is very likely not to be, they won't have any useable data for a day or so yet.

This happens with every launch.

Usual thing...most people are looking for a sensation just as much as the media likes to provide one. :S

The puff I saw passed from the front of the orbiter over the right wing.

I noticed just after the commentator announced negative return, two small pieces flew towards each other, one from the left of the screen and one from the right, the right with more velocity. The two pieces actually hit each other and flew together as one piece towards the left uder the starboard wing..

They're now showing replays of the ISS crew watching the liftoff in Destiny.  30 min from opening of payload bay doors.

10 min to post launch news conference from KSC.

I'll even excitedly look forward to "flags and footprints" and suborbital missions. Just fly...somewhere.

I was not looking for a sensation...I was just stating the scheduled time of the press conference.
